A multi-day outdoor festival is basically a small city that appears in a field for a weekend and vanishes on Monday. Tens of thousands of people, limited showers, dust or mud depending on the sky's mood, heat, sweat, sunscreen, bug spray, and one shared patch of ground.
Two things happen at once: you get grimy fast, and so does the site.
